Work Term: Permanent Work Language: French Hours: 40 hours per week Education: Other trades certificate or diploma Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years or equivalent experience Tasks Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts Keep maintenance reports and documentation Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work Perform repair work on heavy trucks Service attachments and working tools Verify and repair emission control systems Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Attention to detail Bending, crouching, kneeling Hand-eye co-ordination Handling heavy loads Manual dexterity Sound discrimination Standing for extended periods Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability Accurate Dependability Judgement Reliability Team player Organized Screening questions Do you have experience working in this field?
